The service life of PTFE

PTFE Polytetrafluoroethylene is one of the most stable polymer materials. It is resistant to acid, alkali, solvents, and high temperature and ultraviolet rays, but pure PTFE is not abrasion-resistant. Pay attention to the firmness and avoid shaking and friction.

In addition to the quality of PTFE’s own raw materials or improved conditions, the service life of PTFE is related to the following external environment:

1. Long-term use temperature, instantaneous maximum and low use temperature;

2. Use environment (strong acid, strong alkali, water, oil, exposure), dynamic friction, static friction, pressure;
